The Argyle Diamonds and their Importance
In Western Australia, the East Kimberley region is home to the Argyle Diamond Mine, it is the largest diamond producer in the world by volume. It is however, not the leader by value. It's main claim to fame is that it produces over 90% of the world's supply of pink diamonds, one of the most collectable hues of fancy coloured diamonds.
