The 357 ct rough diamond found at the Letšeng mine in Lesotho has been crafted into a heart shaped 118.78 ct diamond called the Graff Venus.

The Letšeng mine is located in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho and it is most famous for producing large, high quality Type II diamonds of exceptional beauty. Among the most popular diamonds recovered from the Letšeng mine are the 910 carat Lesotho Promise, the 550 carat Letšeng Star and the 493 carat Letšeng Legacy. The Letšeng mine is also renowned for producing high quality pink and blue diamonds, achieving record sale prices. These large, exceptional quality diamonds supply the top end of the diamond market and are sent from Lesotho to Antwerp to achieve the greatest returns at diamond tenders.
