The Letšeng mine is located in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho and it is most famous for producing large, high quality Type II diamonds of exceptional beauty. Among the most popular diamonds recovered from the Letšeng mine are the 910 carat Lesotho Promise, the 550 carat Letšeng Star and the 493 carat Letšeng Legacy.
