Your Guarantee of Authenticity

Every diamond,
independently certified.

A diamond is a significant purchase and a symbol of a moment you want to last a lifetime. Your confidence should be as clear as the diamond itself — which is why every diamond we sell is accompanied by an independent GIA or IGI grading report and laser-inscribed with its unique report number.

The Blueprint

Your diamond’s fingerprint, on paper.

A diamond grading report — also called a certificate — is a detailed blueprint of your diamond produced by a third-party, independent gemological laboratory. It provides an unbiased, expert assessment of every important characteristic: Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat, proportions, finish, fluorescence, and the position of any inclusions.

An independent report is non-negotiable, because it means your diamond’s quality has been validated by the world’s leading authorities — not just by the seller. It is your absolute assurance of quality, authenticity and value, and your record of what you own for a lifetime.

“A grading report is how a diamond speaks for itself. No subjective opinions — just the measured truth, from the world’s leading laboratories.”
World-Leading Standards

Two laboratories. One standard of trust.

We work exclusively with the most respected independent laboratories — each a world leader in their field. Every natural diamond we sell is GIA certified. Every lab-grown diamond is IGI certified.

For Natural Diamonds

GIA

Gemological Institute of America

The Gemological Institute of America is the world’s foremost authority on natural diamonds. Founded in 1931, GIA developed the 4Cs and created the international diamond grading system used today.

A GIA certificate is the global gold standard, recognised the world over for its rigorous, consistent and impartial grading. When you choose a natural diamond from Monroe Yorke, your GIA report is your proof of quality.

  • Independent assessment of all 4Cs
  • Laser-inscribed report number on the girdle
  • Verifiable online via GIA Report Check
  • Full Grading Report (1.00ct+) or Dossier (under 1.00ct)
For Lab-Grown Diamonds

IGI

International Gemological Institute

The International Gemological Institute is the leading authority for the certification of lab-grown diamonds, and the world’s largest independent gemological laboratory. IGI applies the same rigorous grading standards to lab-grown diamonds that GIA applies to natural.

Every lab-grown diamond we sell is graded, certified and laser-inscribed by IGI — giving you the same detailed analysis and assurance of quality, for these modern marvels.

  • Independent assessment of all 4Cs
  • Laser-inscribed report number on the girdle
  • Verifiable online via IGI Report Check
  • Identifies growth method (HPHT or CVD) and any treatments
The Unbreakable Link

A microscopic signature,
forever.

How can you be certain that the diamond you receive is the exact same one detailed in your report? The answer is laser inscription.

Each GIA and IGI certified diamond has its unique report number microscopically laser-inscribed onto its girdle — the thin outer edge of the stone. The inscription is invisible to the naked eye but can be read under a jeweller’s loupe or microscope.

This inscription is your unbreakable link: tangible proof that connects your physical diamond directly to its grading report, guaranteeing its identity for the life of the diamond. Verify it any time using the official online portals below.
