Our four property standard

Every Chiron diamond, held to the same four numbers.

We do not chase a weight and hope the light follows. We start with the four properties that make a princess cut fire, then the total carat weight is the size you want it in.

Colour
E to F

Colourless to near colourless. The top end of the wearable range, reads as brilliantly clean white against skin.

C

Your choice · VS or SI1

Both grades are eye clean at princess cut size. SI1 is the value pick, VS is two grades cleaner. You choose, we source to match.

Every diamond in the row hand matched by our master jeweller for colour, clarity and size, so the bracelet reads as one clean line of light.

Chiron tennis bracelet on wrist
Presence on the wrist

Total carat weight is not just a number, it is a visible decision.

A 4.5ct bracelet reads elegant. An 18ct bracelet stops a room. Same design, same E/F colour, your choice of VS or SI1 clarity. The only thing changing is the size of each princess cut and the light each one throws.

Assertive
4.5 to 8.0ct
Everyday presence

Refined weight on the wrist. Wears easily under a sleeve, catches light at every turn. Our most chosen tier for a first tennis bracelet.

Formidable
10.0 to 18.0ct
Substantial statement

Serious weight, visible from across a room. Reads as jewellery worth noticing without shouting. The reason people commission a Chiron.

Product description

About this Chiron.

The decision is the total weight, not the design.

Every Chiron is the same bracelet: one unbroken line of princess cut diamonds, channel set so the metal holds each stone along its edges and nothing sits proud of the surface. What changes between a 4.5 carat Chiron and an 18 carat one is the size of each diamond, and that changes everything about how it reads on a wrist.

At 4.5 carats the stones are 2.0mm and there are 76 of them. Close set, bright, easy to wear every day. At 18 carats you get 42 stones at 4.0mm each, and the bracelet stops being something you wear and starts being the thing people mention. Most customers land between 6 and 10 carats. If you are undecided, that is where we would point you.

Why princess cut

Round diamonds in a channel leave small gaps of metal between the stones. Princess cuts do not. Their square outline sits edge to edge down the length of the channel, so the row reads as a continuous band of light rather than a series of separate points.

It is a harder bracelet to build. Every stone has to match its neighbour to within a tenth of a millimetre or the line looks uneven, and a princess cut that runs even slightly long will sit proud of the channel and chip against the stone beside it. It is also, in our view, the better looking of the two.

The diamonds

E to F colour on every Chiron, whatever weight you choose. That is the top of the near colourless range, and it is what keeps the row reading white against skin rather than warm.

Clarity is the one thing you pick. SI1 is the sensible choice for most people, and at these stone sizes both grades are eye clean. VS adds between 2 and 8 per cent depending on total weight, and it is worth it if you want the higher grade on paper. Ask us and we will tell you which one we would buy.

Metal

10ct, 14ct or 18ct gold in white or yellow, or 950 platinum. White gold and platinum are both rhodium finished for maximum whiteness. Yellow gold is left uncoated so it keeps its own colour. Platinum costs a little more than 18ct white gold and holds its finish differently over time.

Ordering

Every Chiron is made to order and hand-finished in Australia, which takes around eight weeks. We source the diamonds, match them for colour, then set each one. Order online with free insured shipping Australia-wide, or see it in person at one of our studios by appointment.

Straight answers

Questions we get most.

Which total carat weight should I choose?

Most first time tennis bracelet buyers land in the 5.0 to 8.0 carat range. It is a real, visible piece of jewellery without being showy. If you already own diamond jewellery and want a bracelet that reads as substantial from across a room, look at 10ct upward. Speak with us if you are not sure, we will show you both on a video call.

VS or SI1, which should I choose?

For a channel set tennis bracelet with princess cuts at these sizes, both grades read as eye clean. SI1 is the smart choice for most customers, you will save around 18% and no one will ever see the difference outside a jeweller's loupe. VS is worth it if you know you want the higher clarity grade, or if you plan to keep and pass the piece on. Same E/F colour either way.

Is 18ct gold worth the extra over 14ct?

For a tennis bracelet, yes. 18ct has more warmth in yellow, more weight, and the channel setting holds up better long term. 14ct is a smart choice if you would rather put more into the diamond weight. We are happy to compare the same total carat weight in both, side by side.

How does the sizing work?

Standard length is 18cm which fits most adult wrists comfortably. On order, we ask for your wrist measurement in centimetres and adjust before shipping. If it does not fit when it arrives, one complimentary resize within 60 days of delivery.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. On any Chiron above $2,000 you can pay a 50% deposit at order and the balance on completion, typically 4 to 8 weeks later. No interest, no surcharge. Or full payment at order if you prefer.

What is covered by the lifetime warranty?

Craftsmanship for life. Any manufacturing fault, we repair or replace at no cost. Stone loss from a defective setting, covered. Wear damage from accidents or wear and tear over time is not included but we will always quote a fair repair.
