The hidden halo is the most considered detail in modern engagement-ring design. From two feet away, the Bella reads as a clean oval solitaire. Lean in, lift her hand to look at it properly, and a perimeter of small accent diamonds catches the light from below the centre stone. The halo lives between the diamond and the band, invisible until it isn't.
An oval cut centre stone wears longer on the finger than a round of the same carat weight. It reads larger by maybe ten per cent at the same price. For a customer choosing between round and oval, that's the only number worth knowing.
This ring carries a lab grown centre diamond, IGI certified, chosen at the Ideal cut grade only. Same brilliance as a natural diamond of the same colour and clarity. The difference is where it was grown and what it costs. At 2 carats the price difference between lab and natural is typically forty to sixty per cent. We sell both. We don't mind which one you pick. We just won't sell you anything that isn't graded at the top.
Choose your carat (1ct up to 3ct) and your metal in 10ct, 14ct or 18ct, in white, yellow or rose gold. The 18ct options are richer and slightly softer. 14ct is more wearable day-to-day. Both work for engagement rings; most of our customers pick 18ct.
Every Monroe Yorke ring goes through ten distinct stages over four to eight weeks. Design refinement. Three-dimensional modelling. Casting. Stone sourcing. Cleaning. Polishing. Setting. Who this ring is for
You've been told you want a solitaire because halos are dated. Both things can be true. The hidden halo is the cleanest way to get extra light return without an actual halo visible from above. It's the detail you notice the second time you look at the ring, not the first. Customers who like considered design rather than statement design tend to choose this one.

We start with a recycled gold or platinum ingot, hand-shape the band, then a Quality Control Specialist places each diamond by hand under magnification. The centre stone is checked for fit, the prongs are formed and burnished, and the ring is polished to a mirror finish before its final inspection.
The result is a ring you can wear gardening, swimming, sleeping, and signing important papers — and still feel beautiful in twenty years. That's our definition of an engagement ring done properly.

Yes — they're chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds. They have the same 10/10 hardness, the same brilliance, the same fire. They're tested and certified by the same gemological institutes (IGI, GIA). The only difference is that they're grown above ground in a controlled environment over weeks, instead of formed underground over billions of years.
Lab grown diamonds skip the multi-billion-year geological process, the extractive mining, and several intermediate steps in the supply chain. The result is a stone of equivalent (or higher) grade at typically 40-60% less than a mined equivalent. You can either buy a much larger stone for the same budget, or pocket the difference and have a beautiful ring at a more accessible price.
Yes — your Monroe Yorke ring includes complimentary resizing within the first 12 months. Solitaire and halo settings can typically be resized up or down by 2 sizes safely. We recommend ordering a complimentary ring sizer first (free, ships in 2-3 days) so you nail it first time.
Every ring is hand-finished to order in our Sydney workshop. Standard lead time is 42 days from order confirmation — that includes sourcing the centre diamond, fabricating the setting, setting the stone, and final inspection. If you need it sooner for a specific date, contact us about priority craft options.
