Four carats is the size where a ring stops being noticed and starts being mentioned. Clover is built for that. A 4 carat round brilliant lab grown diamond sits high in a polished four-claw setting, with sixteen smaller round brilliants set along the band so the light keeps running down the finger instead of stopping at the centre.
Clover is set with a Monroe Yorke Signature Diamond, individually certified by IGI and laser inscribed with its report number.
Most diamonds on the market are cut to hold weight. Deepen the pavilion a little and the stone keeps more of the rough, which means more carats to sell. It also means light drops out through the bottom of the stone instead of coming back to your eye. Bigger on paper, duller in the hand.
We don't take those. Every Monroe Yorke Signature Diamond, natural or lab grown, is hand-selected against a strict light-performance standard. Excellent cut by GIA, Ideal by IGI, and nothing lower gets in. Cut for perfect light return, so the light that goes into the stone comes back out to your eye instead of leaking through the bottom.
You notice it at four carats more than anywhere else. A stone this wide gives the eye time to settle into it, so a Clover shines brighter than the diamond next to it, on any finger and in any light.
Clover is made in 18ct white gold, 18ct yellow gold, 18ct rose gold, or 950 platinum. White gold and platinum read almost the same on the hand, so if you are choosing between them it usually comes down to weight and feel rather than colour.
Two things move the price on a ring like this. The centre stone is most of it, and a lab grown diamond costs considerably less than a natural diamond of the same weight and grade. It is the same material, cut to the same standard and graded by the same laboratories. What you are not paying for is rarity.
Metal choice shifts the figure by a smaller amount. Platinum is denser than gold, so the same ring takes more of it, and it prices accordingly. Ring size moves it slightly too, since a larger band carries more metal and more accent stones.

We start with a recycled gold or platinum ingot, hand-shape the band, then a Quality Control Specialist places each diamond by hand under magnification. The centre stone is checked for fit, the prongs are formed and burnished, and the ring is polished to a mirror finish before its final inspection.
The result is a ring you can wear gardening, swimming, sleeping, and signing important papers — and still feel beautiful in twenty years. That's our definition of an engagement ring done properly.
