About the Rope chain
A Rope chain is built from twisted strands of fine gold that wind around each other like a fibre rope, the most decorative and intricate of the classic chain forms. The hollow construction makes the chain lighter to wear at any given visual width, which is what makes a Rope chain feel substantial without being heavy. The diamond-cut finish hand-facets the surface so the chain catches light like multiple thinner chains worn at once. Made in Italy by master goldsmiths, our Rope chains are solid 9ct or 18ct gold in your choice of Yellow, White or Rose, with a matching solid gold lobster clasp.

A lifetime of everyday wear
Solid gold is one of the lowest-maintenance metals you can own. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth weekly keeps it bright. Avoid wearing in chlorinated pools (chlorine attacks the 9ct alloy over time) and remove before applying perfume or hair products.
