A four claw solitaire is the simplest ring we make. There is nothing designed around the diamond and nothing else asking for attention. Four claws hold the centre stone, a delicate rounded band runs across the finger, and the diamond does the rest.

We open the four claws as far as they go without compromising the hold, so more of the diamond is exposed to light from every angle. The pavilion sits clear of the band, which lets light enter through the table and leave through the table, the way a brilliant cut is meant to behave.

The band is half a millimetre narrower than the standard solitaire band most jewellers cut. It feels lighter on the finger, and the contrast makes the diamond read fractionally larger.

Available in 14ct or 18ct white, yellow or rose gold, or 950 platinum. The claws themselves are always white gold or platinum, which keeps them reading neutral under a colourless centre stone whatever band you choose.

The setting starts at $1,819 in 14ct gold, $2,179 in 18ct, and $2,319 in 950 platinum. Your centre diamond is chosen separately at Step 2, GIA or IGI certified.

Care & warranty

Everyday wear

Your ring is hand-finished for daily wear. Take it off for the gym, contact sports, gardening, and heavy manual work. Diamonds are the hardest natural material but can chip on impact against another diamond or a metal surface. Chlorine from pools accelerates gold's oxidation over years, rinse the ring after swimming.

Cleaning at home

Weekly: warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, a soft toothbrush, and pat dry. Focus on the underside of the centre diamond and behind the setting, where skin oils collect and dull the light return.

Professional maintenance

Every 12 to 18 months at any of our four showrooms. Included in the lifetime warranty at no cost. We ultrasonic-clean, re-tip any worn prongs, polish the band, and inspect the setting under 10x loupe.

Resize policy

Complimentary resize within 60 days of delivery. After 60 days, resizes are $180 within Australia (we cover return shipping both ways). Turnaround is five to seven business days.

Warranty scope

Lifetime warranty covers workmanship, prong integrity, and metal wear. Does not cover accidental damage, loss, theft, or wear from harsh chemicals. Every warranty claim starts with a free inspection at any of our four showrooms or by mail-in.
