A princess cut centre, with diamonds running down both shoulders
Lutèce is built around a square stone. A princess cut diamond sits square to the finger in a four claw setting, and a row of fourteen small round diamonds runs down each shoulder of the band before stopping partway around. The band is left plain from there back, so the ring sits flat against a wedding band and there is no join to work around.
The shoulder diamonds are micro claw set, 0.28ct in total. Each is F or G colour if you choose natural, D or E if you choose lab grown, all VS clarity. They are set low and flush, so nothing stands proud of the band to catch on clothing or hair.
The setting head is white gold or platinum on every version, including the yellow and rose gold bands. A white metal under a square stone keeps the corners looking crisp and stops warm metal reflecting into the diamond. You choose the band colour: 14ct or 18ct gold in white, yellow or rose, or 950 platinum. Monroe Yorke is engraved on the band.
The setting takes square and rectangular cuts. Princess, radiant or emerald, from 0.50ct up to 5.10ct. Choose a natural centre diamond, GIA certified, or lab grown, IGI certified. Both are sourced at the highest cut grade their respective labs award. The price difference between natural and lab grown is typically forty to sixty per cent at the same carat weight.
